looking for some luck this week.

So I'm taking both my written and practical state board exams this week to get my license...and I'm kinda freaking out. I know what I need to do, and I know how to do it...but I'm still worried that ill forget a step or something. So nervous! Wish me luck!!!!!

Anyways, yesterday after church my friend McKenzie who is an amazing photography major here at BYU took some awesome pictures of me!! It was a lot of fun! We just went to random places while driving around and found some cool spots. I tried to make some dry fingerwaves in my hair, and it worked out pretty good...they looked even cooler once they relaxed a little.

So I celebrated my 20th birthday this week. :-) It was a ton of fun! I got to go on a trip to california with my school and went to a hair show and disneyland! I bought tons of fun stuff at the show and went to some cool classes! On my birthday I got to take a wonderful nap, and went out to dinner at pizza factory with some friends!!!

I don't know how I feel about turning 2o. I'm excited for what is coming my way...I'm almost done with school, and i'll be moving back home, and hopefully land a killer job! At the same time I'm kinda sad to be letting go of my "teens". Oh Well!! It's called the roaring 20's for a reason right?!

Tomorrow morning I fly out of this frozen tundra some people call Provo...and into sunny LONG BEACH!!! I am so excited!! Let's hope it's sunny, okay?!

I am attending the International Salon and Spa Expo on Sunday (gonna get my shop on), Disneyland on Monday, and then my birthday on Tuesday!!!

I have a shoe problem. I'll be honest. I was unpacking my shoes today because I have moved into a new apt and I counted...FOURTY EIGHT pairs. yikes. The worst part...I can't wear half of them because I live in the horrible snow!! But anyways...these beauties are my next purchase...even better is their on sale. yes yes YES.

Call me crazy but this year I've decided I want my very own Theme Song. I've chosen a song that motivates me, and inspires me to be something more. A little less of me, and much more of him.

Its 1 am. can't sleep so of course I find myself here. things on my mind right now...

1. how much I am dreading going back to Provo on Monday.

2. how greatful I am to have been home the past two weeks. It has been a much needed break.

3. how horribly white I am. I need a tanning membership. baddd.

4. how excited I am for this new year. so many good things to come!

5. 2 more months of school! woot.

6. I loooove my mom. I miss her when I'm not here.
