ughhhh. i got a ticket today. heres the story...i need to vent...
I wake up to the beautiful sunshine FINALLY! I think it has rained everyday this month here in provo. but anyway, I proceed to walk downstairs to the pool to layout and enjoy my book, but I go to open the gate door and realize I don't have my pool key. It must have fallen off or something. which sucks because its 25 dollars. So I decide..."hey ill just go to the pool down the street, you don't need a key to get in there." SO I get in my car, without my purse. Because remember...I was just going downstairs, not down the street! so I proceed down 300 N. (its a quite small street right off 900 E.) and there is a T in the road with a stop sign. Which I didn't notice. real cool. So I don't stop and next thing I know there is a cop behind me. Im like great. what did i do? and then I realize I don't have my purse which has my drivers license in it. even cooler. SO he comes to my window and is like do you know why I pulled you over? and I was like, honestly no, I don't.
ANYWAY. Long story short. I have 90$ fine for not stopping at the stop sign. and a 50$ fine for not having my license.
Oh and the cop saw on my records I wear contacts...so when he comes to the window he said, "are you wearing your contacts?" I replied "yes" then he said, "let me see, look up." HAHA so i look up and he is like in my face looking in my eyeballs for my contacts...and he replies "I don't see any contacts" haha, so I popped one out into the palm of my hand and was like "well, there's one." stupid. what kinda cop does that?
haha, I'm obviously really annoyed with the whole situation, and I'm a bit annoyed with myself for not seeing the stupid stop sign and not taking my dang purse. But i just had to vent...
